Narrative (1st Draft) 

You are a freedom fighter, part of a global resistance movement whose goal it is to free the people of the world from an oppressive state, ruled by an evil overlord and his cronies.

 Your covert mission is to move around your location, tracking down CCTV cameras to ascertain whether they are being used for or against the will of the people. 

 You will disable, fix or leave CCTV cameras depending on your findings. Mostly you can so this by yourself but sometimes you may need to join with other members of the resistance. 

 If you choose correctly, you will receive information in the form of 'information ink' which when added to an invisible map, will reveal further locations in your area. In completing your mission effectively You will be rewarded by moving up the ranks. 

 But, you should remain vigilant, as the state is constantly checking the surveillance cameras and should you make the wrong choice, you will be detected by the state and tracked, captured and imprisoned.



Free the people from an oppressive world state

and protect the innocent

Game Mechanics 


  1. The Player downloads the app from Apple/Google Play Mobile App Store onto their mobile phone/ipad. 
  2. The player receives a simple narrative in the form of a short film.   
  3. No Written Instructions are given as the player will receive instructions as they play.
  4. When the Player enters a real life location, their phone will vibrate indicating they are close to a CCTV camera. 
  5. The Resistance Logo flashes on their device...
  6. This is followed by simple instructions which say "look for CCTV Camera"
  7. The device can then be used to sweep the room to locate an Augmented Reality (AR) CCTV Camera nearby. 
  8. Instructions prompt the player to examine the CCTV camera. 
  9. Is the camera working for or against the people? The operative must decide. 
  10. If the camera is working - The player can choose to watch the camera footage... The player then can flick to disable or leave the camera running. 
  11. If the camera is broken - The player can choose to fix the camera or leave it broken. 
  12. Their phone will buzz again indicating that the state are close by.  
  13. The player chooses...  
  14. If they have chosen correctly they will receive information that will lead to the next location. 
  15. If they have chosen incorrectly they will be detected by the state, captured and imprisioned (they will be inactive for 30 minutes). 
  16. As players progress around their neighbourhood, they will go up and down the resistance ranking. When they reach a certain level they can start to explore other locations further afield such as USA, China, India, Japan, Russia etc.  
  17. Cameras in worldwide GPS locations will represent the region in which they are located.

Paper cutting : game assets and illustration work

I am currently cutting paper grass in a variety of coloured papers for use as website graphics, game assets and papercut illustration references. This is part of the Sartorium Studio paper aesthetic branding but also to progress the game environment development.  As a paper artist, and illustrator, I have worked on a commissioned and freelance basis in the past. I live working with material and paper has an endless fascination for me given that it’s both fragile and strong.  It’s intended that a Lunarium poster will be produced for the game and that this may lead on to designing and producing other illustration work in support or and as another method of artistic production that I find very satisfying.  The challenge for me at the moment (and to be honest has been for a while now) how to translate the visual aesthetic of cut paper to digital 2D and 3D work.
