Editorial Brief
First Illustration for the Editorial Brief.
The geometry for a three petal flower inverted. The string inverts to green and looks great. The inversion glows with the natural colour usually associated with the natural world.
In researching The Guardian Illustrators I feel that the most effective illustrations will be simple and communicate clearly. I need to feel that the images are in complete symmetry with the text. I am working on three simple illustrations in 2 and 3D at the moment.
The string colour for my Illustrations is CMYK as this represents anti-colour. However I feel that the yellow should be represented by gold string as Gold atoms measure almost 1 nanometre, just smaller than the width of DNA molecule. This feels appropriate for the work.
