One thing I've noticed is that when set a creative challenge my mind works extremely fast as I start spinning ideas, flipping them on their head in the ideation process.
This can be problematic when working with others who are more technically minded, maybe because of the fastidiousness of their work and thought processes.
However, as a creative it is really valuable to bounce ideas off others, even if a few of them are questionable (third richt and torture!) but no idea is a bad idea in this stage of the game.
As my focus is on unity and iterating white box models and user testing in this project, I threw open a technical question to everyone regarding the Nintendo Switch and its use as a VR headset. Dom advised that Playstation VR might be a better way to go as the Nintendo is more of a toy but Playstation development licences and prototype development can be expensive.
I am looking to invest in some hardware which may well require funding a PC with a GTX1080 i7 as the bare minimum. This will need some further investigation.
Ideally I would like to develop XR experience projects with great VR and AR interaction. I would also like to submit my final project to annecy Cinematic VR category. As this was supported by spotlight stories last year but they have pulled the plug on this project I am now looking at Unity VR film making.
