GAM720 Week 6:05 App Sketch and Adobe XD Wireframe Prototype

I have researched how a number of apps structure their interaction design and I am beginning to flesh out my first sketches (Below).

I have now started to create an Adobe XD Prototype so that I can test the interaction and concept at an early stage before full development.

Reflection

This process has helped to refine my concept. As I continue to research game play and interaction in other apps on the market I am thinking about the user profiles, the apps unique selling points and monetisation of the app. This process has helped to refine my concept. Instead of developing Fizhogg as a stand alone App I am thinking about how I can develop this as an which contains multiple apps (paid for individually as single games but under the umbrella of Fizhogg world) This would make it more acceptable to charge a small payment for each game, building loyality through multiple experiences in real life/AR/VR and screen based mobile apps.

I could also follow the lead of Luminosity and provide a free app which shares the development process and include some game play there too! I am aware that I will not have time during this development phase to do this but I could include it in the backlog for the next one.

I have also been able to identify key shots which could be developed as Mock - Up for the App proposal.

I need to develop the main characters and check that they read clearly against the background palette. I also want to expand and contract the 4th wall and play with the users suspension of disbelief a little. I intend to do this by including their device within the scene. This will probably be placed on the counter at the small tent games and used to spin the wheel of fortune (using dizzying aesthetics and sound to reenforce the world spinning).
